The euro hit a two-month high against the yen on Wednesday as the resilience of the euro zone economy and solid European bank earnings released the previous day helped boost investor risk appetite.

The euro inched up 0.2 percent to 114.49 yen EURJPY=R, its highest since mid-May.

Against the dollar, the euro was up 0.2 percent at $1.3021 EUR=, hovering near an 11-week high of $1.3047 struck on Tuesday.
