  • Khalifa said she was trying her best to fight against the "billion-dollar company," which she has accused of deceiving her and promoting her old videos as though they were newly-produced
  • BangBros said Khalifa earned at least $178,000 from the company unlike her previous claim of getting only $12,000

Former porn star Mia Khalifa broke her silence and addressed the counter-accusations made by BangBros, describing it as a “smear campaign.”

In a short clip titled “Honesty > Trump administration style ‘facts’” that was uploaded on her social media accounts, the ex-adult film actress started by saying that she is aware that people want to know what really happened, but that she initially didn’t want to address what she called a “smear campaign” because it was “ridiculous.”

In the minute-long video, Khalifa mentioned her alleged earnings from the adult film industry, explaining that she also used to work as a social media contractor and was “paid to run accounts.” This amount, Khalifa said, was added to what she made from her videos as an actress.

Khalifa previously stated that she only made $12,000 during her brief stint in the porn industry, but BangBros said in its recent “Facts Beat Fiction” campaign that the former porn star raked in $178,000 just from the company and its affiliates.

“I don’t think that’s a very fair way to put the information out to you guys because I know that you guys aren’t dumb and I want to give you all of the information,” Khalifa said in the video posted Saturday.

Khalifa added that though she wanted to give more details on the matter, she was “one person fighting against a billion-dollar company and I can’t do it alone.” Khalifa described the battle as “terrifying” and that she is “really scared” of saying something wrong.

The ex-porn star said that everything she says or puts out has to be “run by legal now” because of how BangBros “made it very dirty.” Khalifa reiterated that she couldn’t do it alone, although she is trying.

Khalifa's latest statement comes a few weeks after BangBros sent her a “cease and desist” notice over her “defamatory” statements. Khalifa earlier claimed that the company has been promoting her old videos as though they were newly-made.

Khalifa also previously claimed that BangBros once deceived her into posing for a shoot with an alleged “Vogue photographer.” She alleged that BangBros execs and the photographer “consciously chose to deceive” her as the images were later uploaded on the porn website under her name.

Earlier this month, BangBros launched a campaign debunking what it claims were Khalifa’s “false, deceptive, and misleading statements,” including about how much she earned in the industry and how long she was in it.

In the statement, the company said that Khalifa was in the adult entertainment industry for much longer than the three-month stint she previously claimed. “Mia performed with the adult Film and Cam industry from mid-late 2014 through July 2017. 2 years and 9 months to be exact,” BangBros said.
