Just because the members of Fifth Harmony sing their own songs, it doesn’t mean they’re opposed to performing another artist’s record. In a sneak peek of the Paramount Network series “Lip Sync Battle,” Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui hit the stage to perform songs by their favorite artists.

In the episode, Kordei channeled Beyoncé to perform “Bootylicious.” The song, which was originally sung by Destiny’s Child, allowed the 21-year-old to live out her dream of becoming Beyoncé for a day.

Following her performance, where she wore a pink wig and outfit similar to Beyoncé’s in the original music video, Kordei explained the song brought back childhood memories.

“I just remember watching ‘Bootylicious’ in my grandmother’s living room and not being able to stop,” she told host LL Cool J while showing off her dance moves.

Meanwhile, Jauregui called on her inner Amy Winehouse to capture the crowd with the late singer’s hit song, “Rehab.”

Jauregui wore a wig displaying the singer’s signature hairstyle, along with her tattoos and a dress similar to what Winehouse once wore.

Kordei noted Jauregui looks “just like” Winehouse, while fans on Twitter praised the star for emulating her gestures during the performance. “Ayee that Body movement... Amy Winehouse is proud mama,” one fan wrote.

The sneak peek of Kordei and Jauregui performing on the series comes after rumors that the two are looking to go solo. Kordei first stirred breakup rumors when she landed a solo management deal outside of Fifth Harmony in October.

Kordei later denied the group was breaking up during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“I’m like, no, I’m not leaving my group. I would never. We’re on such a high right now. We’re at our peak. It would be dumb at this point, and it’s not what I want to do with my heart and soul. That wasn’t even a thought,” she said.

However, over Grammys weekend, split rumors once again began to circulate after a Billboard staff member overheard Jauregui was signing a deal with Columbia for a solo album.

While it appears that Fifth Harmony is still together, Jauregui has not confirmed or denied whether she has inked a solo deal.

The episode of “Lip Sync Battle” which will pit Fifth Harmony members Ally Brooke Hernandez, Dinah Jane Hansen, Jauregui, and Kordei against each other, will air Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on Paramount Network.
