Dakota Johnson is officially an A-lister. The “Fifty Shades Darker” star is accompanied by some heavy hitters on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 2017 Hollywood issue.

Released Thursday, Vanity Fair’s annual edition shows Johnson posing next to some of this year’s Oscar nominees, including “La La Land” star Emma Stone, “Jackie” lead Natalie Portman and “Loving” star Ruth Negga. Other famous faces in the shot include sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, Amy Adams (“Arrival”), Greta Gerwig (“Jackie”), Aja Naomi King (“Birth of a Nation”) and singer Janelle Monáe.

Vanity Fair notes it chose to feature Johnson, 27, for her long list of upcoming films and rapidly growing resume. “It is outside the pallor and dolor of ‘Fifty Shades’ that Johnson gets to strut a fuller stride,” notes the publication, citing her work in the 2016 comedy “How To Be Single” and the crime drama “A Bigger Splash.”

With the “Fifty Shades” franchise officially wrapped — the third and final film, “Fifty Shades Freed,” debuts in 2018 — Johnson is on to her next project. The actress will star in “Suspiria,” a reboot of the horror film, which follows a ballerina who joins a mysterious dance academy. “It doesn’t get more ooga-booga than that,” notes Vanity Fair.

This year’s star-studded Vanity Fair shoot was lead by photographer Annie Leibovitz. E! Online reports digital copies of the anticipated edition will be available Feb. 2. Hard copies hit newsstands everywhere on Feb. 7. Watch a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot below.

Johnson will reprise her role of Ana Steele in “Fifty Shades Darker” on the big screen next month. The film is the second in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” series, which is based on E.L. James’ book trilogy of the same name. See it in theaters on Feb. 10.
