The CW’s “The Flash” and its lead star Grant Gustin were among the winners at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards.

“The Flash” was named as choice action TV show, while Gustin took home the surfboard for choice action TV actor.

Other nominees for this year’s choice action TV show were ABC’s “Agents of “S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Fox’s “Gotham” and “Lethal Weapon” and CW’s “Arrow” and “Supergirl.” The choice action TV actor category, meanwhile, put Gustin in some serious competition with Stephen Amell (“Arrow”), Clayne Crawford (“Lethal Weapon”), Gabriel Luna (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), Wentworth Miller (“Prison Break”) and Chris Wood (“Supergirl”).

Gustin’s co-stars Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker were also nominated for this year’s choice action TV actress, but the category was won by “Supergirl” star Melissa Benoist.

“This thing is sexy,” Gustin said of the design of this year’s surfboard trophy during his acceptance speech. “Thank you, guys. This is awesome. This is amazing. It always means a lot to get some love from the fans. This one is for the whole cast.”

Gustin, who plays Barry Allen/The Flash on the series, also told fans to get excited about the show’s upcoming season. “We’ve been having a lot of fun making Season 4, so I think you guys have something to look forward to,” the 27-year-old actor said. “Thank you, guys. This is amazing. Peace out.”

Gustin’s award was presented by “Baby Daddy” actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau. Watch Gustin pick up his surfboard in the video below:

Shortly after the awards ceremony, Gustin also took to Instagram to thank everyone who voted for him and the show. He also added that the whole cast and crew deserves a surfboard, “one for everyone.”

Gustin has won a couple of Teen Choice Awards before. He was named choice TV: breakout star in 2015 and choice TV actor: fantasy/sci-fi in 2016. He was also nominated for this year’s choice TV villain for his role as Savitar in Season 3 of “The Flash,” but the award ultimately went to Janel Parrish for her performance as Mona Vanderwaal.

“The Flash” Season 4 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
