A few hours after the Season 3 premiere of “The Flash” aired last night, The CW released a brand new trailer teasing what fans can expect from the upcoming episodes of the new installment.

The minute-long clip, titled “Big Mistake,” shows the comeback of Earth-3 Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp), Earth-2 Harry (Tom Cavanagh) and Jesse (Violett Beane), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and “Arrow’s” Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Aside from featuring the return of familiar faces, the video also offers a first look at the villainous duo Mirror Master (Grey Damon) and Top (Ashley Rickards). See the 0:50 mark of the video below.

As revealed by Comic Book Resources last August, Mirror Master, also known as Sam Scudder, is a smooth criminal with a huge ego. After discovering that he now has the power to travel through any reflective surface, he embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself that he’s the greatest thief Central City has ever seen.

Top, on the other hand, is a metahuman who has the ability to spin at super-speed. She will likely share a romantic relationship with Mirror Master, as the female villain is described by E! News as the Bonnie to his Clyde.

Both baddies are set to make their firs appearance in episode 4, which also marks the return of Captain Cold to the show.

“It’s kind of the origin of Mirror Master,” executive producer Aaron Helbing said of the episode.

“But it’s [also] this struggle between Mirror Master and Captain Cold, and you get to see who comes out on top,” executive producer Todd Helbing added.

In an interview with /Film after The CW’s DC superhero panel at the TCA summer press tour last August, Aaron shared how excited he is about the upcoming episode.

“I’m super excited to see Mirror Master and Captain Cold in the same episode,” he said at the time. “I’ve been a huge fan of Grey’s. I loved him on ‘Aquarius.’ I loved him on ‘Friday Night Lights’ so to be able to work with Grey … is just going to be amazing.”

“The Flash’s” next episode, titled “Paradox,” airs on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Check out the synopsis of Season 3, episode 2 below:

“Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes the effects from Flashpoint are much greater than he thought. Meanwhile, Barry meets new co-worker Julian Albert (Tom Felton) and is surprised by Julian’s immediate disdain for Barry."
