The cast of South Korean psychological suspense thriller drama "Flower of Evil" share their views on the drama’s upcoming episode as it reaches its finale.

"Flower of Evil" was one of the most anticipated K-dramas of 2020 and it has certainly delivered more than what fans were expecting.

The drama revolves around the character of Do Hyun Soo (Lee Joon Gi), a suspected criminal who lives under the identity of another man named Baek Hee Sung in order to hide his horrific past. Hyun Soo, under the identity of Baek Hee Sung, is married to Detective Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won).

To outsiders, the two seem like a loving couple with an adorable daughter who admires her parents. However, things take a turn for the worse when Cha Ji Won is forced to confront the realities of her seemingly perfect husband as she starts to unravel the mysteries surrounding the unexplained deaths that are linked to Do Hyun Soo and his father who was a serial killer.

Undoubtedly, the audience is eager to know what happens to Do Hyun Soo in the drama’s finale as the latest episode left viewers with a cliff hanger as Hyun Soo collapses to the ground and loses consciousness after getting injured while protecting Cha Ji Won.

The drama’s lead actor Lee Joon Gi shared his views on what the viewers can expect from the drama’s finale.

"I think a lot of people must have been surprised by the ending of episode 15 and become more curious about the final ending of the show. I can’t say much because it might spoil it, but I think it would be good if you continue in the last episode to naturally follow along with the characters’ emotions and stories," he said.

"If you also feel Hyun Soo and Ji Won’s emotional changes in their new situation, then I think the ending will be more meaningful and you’ll be able to enjoy how it stays with you," he added while discussing about the crumbling, yet undefeated relationship between the lead stars in the drama.

Actress Moon Chae Won, the lead actress of the drama also expressed her thoughts on the drama’s final episode.

"'Flower of Evil' has its own unique charm, as it’s fascinating, suspenseful, and more, and I think the finale will have those elements too. If you immerse yourself in the enthralling story and in the emotions of each of the characters, then I think it will be even more fascinating and suspenseful than usual and it will linger in your memory," she mentioned, according to Soompi.

"Please watch until the very final scene to see what happens with the completely unpredictable story of the two couples Do Hyun Soo and Cha Ji Won, and Do Hae Soo and Kim Moo Jin," said actor Seo Hyun Woo who portrays the character of Kim Moo Jin, a reporter, in the drama.

Actress Jang Hee Jin, who plays the role of Do Hae soo, Hyun Soo's Sibling, also encouraged the viewers to pay attention to the development between the main characters.

"Please continue to love them until the end," she added.

Meanwhile, "Flower of Evil" will air its final episode on Sept 23 at 9:50 a.m. EDT (10:50 p.m. KST).
