Floyd Mayweather Jr. has once again declared himself the greatest boxer of all time.

Speaking with Shannon Sharpe on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast, the five-division world champion brought his unblemished professional record to the fore as he dismissed comparisons with fellow fight legends.

"Out of all these guys in the history of boxing, I have accomplished more than every fighter in the history of boxing," Mayweather said.

During the interview, Sharpe mentioned the names of Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano as Mayweather dared him to think of fighters who could make a case for the best boxer tag.

But the 43-year-old rebutted his statement and claimed that neither of these icons could take his place at the top of boxing history.

"How many world champions have Rocky Marciano beat? So we already know, I've beat more champions that's going in the Hall of Fame than he beat in his career period. So we're going to X him off. So he's 49-0 and I'm 50-0," Mayweather said.

"We're talking about accomplishments," he continued. "Is Ali the same fighter that got beat by a fighter with seven fights? Leon Spinks beat Muhammad Ali when he only had seven fights. What’s the heavyweight guy that Ali fought three times, Ken Norton? Ken Norton really beat Ali three times, go back and look at the fights."

Mayweather has been sitting on retirement since 2017 when he beat former UFC featherweight and lightweight world champion Conor McGregor via a 10th-round technical knockout in Las Vegas.

Although inactive inside the ring, the Michigan-born legend has kept his presence relevant among major discussions in the sport. For instance, he made sure to address claims that WBC strawweight champion Wanheng Menayothin – a 54-0 record holder from Thailand - has already edged out his flawless slate.

"I’m 50-0 for a reason. Right now they got a fighter that’s over in Asia that’s 54-0 and they say, ‘This is the new TBE,’ because he’s about to retire," Mayweather said.

"I said, ‘Y’all telling me about this fighter that fought one world champion?’ He’s 54-0 and only beat one world champion? This is who y’all are trying to call TBE?" he continued. "Okay, y’all are some comedians."
