  • Floyd Mayweather is open to a boxing return if he will be offered $300 million
  • He is ready to face either Conor McGregor or Khabib Nurmagomedov
  • Mayweather says a return will also depend on his health

Floyd Mayweather Jr. seems happily retired and is busy managing his different businesses. But at the end of the day, it is all about making money. Though he feels the outcome will remain the same, the undefeated boxing champion is willing to don his trunks once more if he is offered big money.

Mayweather told Shannon Sharpe on the latter's "Club Shay Shay" podcast that he is down to face Conor McGregor again if there was a $300 million offer on the table. But as for the result, the boxer said it would still be the same.

"If I could pick an easy $300 million, absolutely. Same way, same results," Mayweather said in the second episode of the podcast.

Though facing McGregor would be a big draw, Mayweather also added that he would also consider facing Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is a rival of The Notorious. However, he clarified that it will all go down only if his health permits it.

"Your health is your wealth," Mayweather said. "So as far as me going out there and competing against a guy like Conor McGregor, or a guy that's really inexperienced, absolutely [I'd fight Nurmagomedov]. Those are $300-million fights."

Mayweather’s jab comes not long after McGregor announced via Twitter that he will be fighting Manny Pacquiao in the Middle East next year. Though UFC president Dana White claimed he has no knowledge of the cross-fight, the Irishman fired back at him in another post and revealed that talks are indeed underway.

When that broke out, Pacquiao aide Jayke Joson confirmed that a fight with McGregor was in the works. However, he also added that the 2021 cross-fight will be for a good cause.

In a statement sent to CNN Philippines, Pacquiao's camp confirmed that the boxing legend will donate a large portion of the purse to COVID-19 relief efforts.

McGregor retired for a third time last June, although most were not buying it. Though there were insinuations that the Irishman would make a UFC return, White maintained that the former UFC champion remains retired. This came not long after the UFC prexy revealed that he is talking to Mayweather about possibly fighting again.
