‘The Fosters’
Will Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) continue taking her brother's ADHD medication in “The Fosters” Season 4, episode 11? Freeform

The Fosters” Season 4 will return with episode 11 in January 2017. Ahead of the winter premiere, here are three major moments from 4A to refresh your memory.

3. Mariana’s addiction to Jesus’ ADHD medication

Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) got addicted to her brother, Jesus’ (Noah Centineo), ADHD medication. During the first half of Season 4, Mariana became involved in a robotics competition that caused her to lose a lot of sleep. In order to calm her nerves, Mariana took Jesus’ meds. When she realized how helpful it could be for her, she continued taking it. Both of Mariana’s moms didn’t really know anything about her addiction so this could be an interesting storyline to explore in 4B.

2. Brandon’s future after academic fraud case

Throughout the past couple of seasons, Brandon (David Lambert) has been very vocal about his desire to go to Julliard. He was finally close to getting an acceptance letter from the prestigious school when he decided to make a wrong move. Since he needed some money to help his girlfriend, Brandon decided to take an examination on behalf of another applicant. However, he got busted, and this prevented him from entering his dream school. With Julliard out of the picture, what exactly will happen to Brandon and his future?

1. Callie and Brandon’s relationship

Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Brandon are now foster siblings so being in a relationship with each other is highly discouraged. However, it still cannot be denied that the two characters connect with each other on a different level. When the series returns with “Insult to Injury,” Callie will be in a serious accident, and Brandon will definitely find a way to help her out.

“The Fosters” Season 4, episode 11 will air on Freeform on Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. EST.
