The Fourth of July is the perfect time to get together with loved ones and break out the grill. However, it is also a great opportunity to cash on all of the freebies, discounts and deals being offered in honor of the holiday. From major appliances to free food, July 4th doesn’t only have to be about barbecues and fireworks.

Restaurants

Outback Steakhouse

From July 4 to July 7, police officers, firefighters, first responders and serviceman and women can cash in on Outback’s Heroes Discount. Individuals will be required to show valid federal or state ID in order to receive 20 percent off of their check. Those who can’t make it in during the special can come in any day of the week to receive 10 percent off of their bill.

Krispy Kreme

On July 4, Krispy Kreme Reward members can get a free dozen of Original Glazed donuts when they buy any dozen of donuts. Those who aren’t members can sign up for free, just be sure to register before Independence Day.

DoorDash

For those who prefer to order delivery on the Fourth of July, DoorDash is offering customers, who use the promo code FREEDOMRINGS, free delivery on orders of $15 or more at select restaurants. DashPass subscribers can receive $5 off orders of $12 or more using the code FIREWORKS.

Wendy's

Customers have until Sunday, July 14 to get a free half-size Berry Burst Salad with any purchase using Wendy’s mobile app.

The Cheesecake Factory

In celebration of Independence Day, the restaurant will be partnering with DoorDash and offering customers who, use the promo code OREO at checkout, a free slice of their Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake. However, customers must meet the delivery minimum, which will be set to $17.76. The numbers coincide with the year the Declaration of Independence was signed.

Retailers

Target

On July 4, shoppers will be offered a slew of discounts like 20 percent off grills, 30 percent off furniture, decor and patio items and 20 percent off Schwinn bikes and bike accessories. Customers, who use the promo code SWIM at check out, will receive up to 20 percent off women’s and kids’ swimwear.

JCPenny

Shoppers who visit their local JCPenny will get $10 off a $25 purchase. Meanwhile, online shoppers can take 25% off their purchases of $100 or more by using the promo code HOLIDAY3.

Macy’s

The retailer is offering customers a variety of discounts. In celebration of the holiday, dress shirts and ties will be 30 percent off, handbags will be 20 percent off, and swimwear will be between 40 percent and 50 percent off.

Men’s INC style will be 25 percent off, luggage will be between 50 and 60 percent off, and customers who buy one bra will get the second one half off.

ACE Hardware

On the Fourth of July, ACE Rewards members will receive free assembly and delivery on grill purchases of $399 or more. Shoppers will also find a variety of discounts on grills, patio furniture and other items.

Best Buy

Customers can get up to 40 percent off appliances, save $50 on the Apple HomePod, save $100 on an HP 14 laptop, and can cash in on a variety of other electronic deals.
