He captioned the photo: “TV Guide Cover 30 Years Ago This Week, March 31-April 6, 1990: It was a kinder gentler time. And the video camera was almost as big as my hair.”

The throwback earned a comment from Bure. In the original series and it’s spinoff “Fuller House,” the actress played D.J. Tanner, Danny’s oldest daughter.

“This is how I always picture you,” Bure commented with a winky face emoji at the end.

Seemingly touched by the reply, Saget referred to the actress by her nickname in the sitcom. “Aw gee. Love you. Deej,” he replied with a red heart emoji.

A few fans agreed with Bure’s sentiment adding a comment under hers.

The user wrote: “I think this is how all of us who grew up on Full House see him.”

“Me toooooooo!!! Hahaha,” another replied. “That 'innocent' smile brings me back to just being A kid. Lol.....”

One fan was warmed by the fact that the two stars still keep in touch.

The person commented: “@candacecbure so cool that you are all still connected! My wife and I [are] currently watching the old [“Full House”] seasons and we still love it. All the topics covered back then regarding parents and kids are still so true.”

Jeff Garlin from the ABC sitcom “The Goldbergs” also commented on Saget’s post. “Sweet face. Nothing has changed,” the actor wrote.

To which Saget replied, “You’re the sweet one. I just work here.”

The actor also connected with co-star John Stamos, who is known for his role as Uncle Jessie. The social media moment came after Stamos shared a photo of the plaid couch used on the “Full House” set.

“I don’t know what... it is John, my brother, but this couch comforts me,” Saget wrote before mentioning Stamos’ son. “As does BILLY! Sending love.”

The proceeds from the show will be donated to the #ComedyGivesBack COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund that helps comedians directly affected by COVID-19. Other stars include Adam Sandler, Amanda Seales and Jimmy Fallon. Laugh Aid will be streamable on the Laugh Lounge app, Twitch, Twitter, and @comedycentral’s YouTube channel and Facebook page simultaneously on Saturday at 7 p.m. EDT.
