Argentinean opera singer, Gabriela Pochinki, appeared in court on Friday on misdemeanor charges and faces jail.

Pochinki is accused of an altercation with Manhattan restaurant manager on Sunday after being accused of pushing the Nice Martin café manager and then refusing to pay her bill.

The singer and her daughter were staying at the Lucerne Hotel and were having a very loud conversation on the cell phone with someone at the maximum audible level. The restaurant manager then approached her to quite down with the star waving her off totally ignoring the manager's request.
