Check out the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale, "The Children," preview. HBO

Following the epic Battle of Castle Black in "The Watchers on the Wall," fans are looking forward to the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale, "The Children." In the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale preview focuses on Tyrion's fate as well as Jon Snow and Mance, Arya, Daenerys and Bran.

Warning: Full "Game of Thrones" Season 4 spoilers ahead.

Fans had to wait a week to learn of Tyrion's fate as "The Watchers on the Wall" was dedicated to the Battle of Castle Black. There are plenty of storylines that will be wrapped up in the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale, directed by Alex Graves, and based on the preview and episode synopsis, we have a few clues as to what to expect. Per "The Children" synopsis, "Circumstances change after an unexpected arrival from north of the Wall; Dany must face harsh realities; Bran learns more about his destiny; Tyrion sees the truth about his situation." Luckily the "The Children" will be the longest episode to date, clocking in at 66 minutes.

In the preview, Bran's group is struggling in their quest to find the three-eyed raven but it appears as though they will complete their journey. There are plenty of questions in regards to Bran's future and the three-eyed raven which may be answered in "Game of Thrones" Season 4 or teased for next season.

Tyrion lost the trial by combat and was sentenced to death. We'll get to learn more about his fate in "The Children" and Cersei's quote regarding family is likely directed at her father Tywin Lannister. Another interesting shot involves a quick glimpse of Cersei and Jaime kissing which does not occur in "A Storm of Swords" and follows the controversial rape scene from "Game of Thrones" Season 4, episode 3, "Breaker of Chains."

Eagle-eyed fans noticed something interesting about the scene featuring Arya and the Hound. In "The Children" preview, the Hound is seen approaching an individual and it looks like he will be facing off against Brienne, based on how the armor looks in the clip. If Brienne and the Hound fight, it'll be an interesting change from George R.R. Martin's novels and adds another element of surprise for those who have read "A Song of Ice and Fire."

The second chapter of the Battle of Castle Black is quickly covered as Mance has some strong words for Jon and a voiceover from Stannis punctuates the action seen in the preview. "The Children" preview ends with quick shots of Daenerys, Varys, Jon, someone falling and dragons.

The "Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale, "The Children," airs on Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO.

Warning: "Game of Thrones" spoiler discussion, don't read if you have not read "A Song of Ice and Fire" or don't want Season 4 spoiled.

- "The Children" preview had some heavy foreshadowing for Tyrion. The episode is going to be incredibly busy but I expect the show will take its time to focus on King's Landing and the Lannisters. I'm intrigued about the Jaime and Cersei scene, if it's not a flashback, as Jaime frees Tyrion which sets up the deaths of Tywin and Shae. Could Cersei say something which leads to Jaime finally severing ties with his family?

- If the Hound does face off with Brienne, there are some ways for it to end with Arya heading across the Narrow Seas and the introduction of Lady Stoneheart. The Hound could prevail in his fight with Brienne but is mortally wounded. The individual seen falling in the preview looks like Brienne and she could be captured by the Brotherhood Without Banners which sets up her meeting with Lady Stoneheart. With the Hound mortally wounded, Arya leaves him to die and gets on a ship to Braavos.
