The lives of Port Charles residents are typically filled with twists and turners, but this week on “General Hospital,” several fan-favorite characters were able to make progress with their plans.

Check out four of the biggest moments that happened on “General Hospital” this week.

1. Trina And Josslyn Close In On Esme

Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) were warned against going to the bar that sold stolen phones because they were underage, but they were determined to find a way to prove Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) framed Trina for leaking the sex tape. After arriving at the bar, Josslyn and Trina managed to find a bartender that remembered selling the phone to Esme.

2. Sonny Wants Nina To Give Their Relationship A Chance

Sonny (Maurice Benard) had an argument with Carly (Laura Wright) in which she made it clear they were over for good. Following the fight, Sonny ran into Nina (Cynthia Watros) and kissed her. He later told her that he wanted to start fresh and be with her. However, he admitted he kissed her because he had a fight with Carly.

3. Nikolas Asks Ava For A Divorce

Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) has been struggling with his guilt after he cheated on Ava (Maura West) with Esme. Nikolas told Ava that in order to save their relationship, he wanted a divorce. Nikolas claimed the divorce would allow them to start over with a clean slate so they could remarry in the future. Viewers are aware that Nikolas is only using the divorce as a way to ease his guilt after betraying Ava.

4. Esme Hijacks Ryan’s Plan

Esme told Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) that she slept with Nikolas, but he was furious she didn’t expose the truth to Ava yet. Esme insisted that revealing the truth would only make Ava and Nikolas stronger. Instead of going forward with Ryan’s plan, Esme decided that her plan would ruin Nikolas and Ava’s family once and for all.

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
