Seeing as the most wonderful time of the year has arrived, “General Hospital” fans will have to endure a week of twists, and a few reruns. For the week of Dec. 23 on “General Hospital,” the residents of Port Charles will uniquely celebrate Christmas.

“GH” will kick off the week with a spin on the Charles Dickens tale, “A Christmas Carol.” The special episode will feature Finn (Michael Easton) becoming the infamous Ebenezer Scrooge.

Seeing as this will mark Finn’s first Christmas with his daughter, he will be determined to give Violet (Jophielle Love) the perfect holiday. Franco (Roger Howarth) will also join the holiday tale and take on the role of Bob Cratchit.

Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West), Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) will play the ghosts that appear to Scrooge to make him see how his behavior has hurt others and inspire him to change his ways.

The “General Hospital” Christmas special will air on Monday, and an encore episode is expected to air on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the ABC soap opera will be pre-empted for a sports game and resume new episodes on Thursday and Friday.

When the episodes airs, viewers will see Josslyn struggle to deal with her feelings, while Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) obsession with Wiley (Erik and Theo Olson) threatens to expose her baby swap with Brad (Parry Shen).

After Nelle landed in the hospital for injuries sustained at Pentonville she stumbled across her baby boy and was eager to get some quality time with him. However, her interest in the toddler will begin to raise suspicion.

“General Hospital” spoilers reveal Nelle is insistent. Brad already admitted that he was ready to come clean about his and Nelle’s devious plan. Although she wants them to continue hiding the truth, will her growing obsession expose their secret?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
