Sonny is looking for proof to link Dex to the hook killer attacks, but on the Monday, Oct. 3 episode of "General Hospital," Dante may deliver information that could save Dex's life.

In the promo video of the ABC soap opera, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) asks Sonny (Maurice Benard) about Dex's (Evan Hofer) whereabouts. "GH" spoilers reveal Dante seeks out Dex.

Sonny suspected Dex was the hook killer after Dante pointed out that Dex was present at every crime scene following an attack.

Since Sonny suspected Dex was the person who was attacking people close to him, he planned to find out answers by any means necessary.

However, Sonny decided to hold off on torturing Dex for answers after he spoke to Josslyn (Eden McCoy), who explained why Dex couldn't be the hook killer.

Josslyn told Sonny that Dex would have been covered in blood when he came to assist after Ava (Maura West) was stabbed. She also made the same argument with Dante, who was convinced by her logic.

It appears Dante will search for Dex to inform him that he no longer suspects him as the hook killer. Will Dante be able to prove Dex is innocent before Sonny finds a reason to torture him?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) asks someone what they want after helping him out. "General Hospital" spoilers reveal Spencer receives unexpected aid.

In the previous episode, an inmate attacked Spencer in the prison library, but it appears someone will come to his rescue before the situation turns deadly.

Spencer will be thankful for the help, but will he have to pay a price to ensure his safety at Pentonville?

Other "GH" spoilers reveal Finn (Michael Easton) will reassure Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Josslyn and Trina (Tabyana Ali) will have some girl talk, and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) makes a request of Sonny.

"General Hospital" airs weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
