  • "Genshin Impact" 2.0 would reportedly feature the Inazuma region
  • Rumors have it that miHoYo might hold a live stream Friday

Rumors, which claimed the official live stream of the next "Genshin Impact" will happen in a few days, have led to more leaks about the update surfacing online.

This time, the full map of the highly awaited region Inazuma, details about its islands and their release schedule have been revealed. The latest apparent information about "Genshin Impact" 2.0 came from industry insider Genshin Report. According to them, players would not have access to the entire map of Inazuma at its launch. Instead, gamers would only be able to explore three islands when video game developer miHoYo rolls out update 2.0.

The insider also revealed this was only half of the supposed total number of islands planned, and added the remaining would be released in "Genshin Impact" throughout 2021 and in the early part of 2022. Moreover, the insider revealed details about the three remaining and inaccessible islands of Inazuma.

This includes the Tsurumi Island, which was featured in the "Genshin Impact" 1.6 Special Program. The gaming studio offered fans a sneak peek, and described the island as a mysterious place covered in fog. No one has ever set foot in Tsurumi in many long years, according to miHoYo.

The other inaccessible island in Inazuma is Serai. Based on the leak, it was also teased at the recent live stream event for "Genshin Impact" 1. The place was described as: "An island where some disaster seems to have occurred. Its center is consumed by an eternal storm."

Finally, the other inaccessible Inazuma island is called Watatsumi. Just like all the other two spots in the Inazuma map, it was also teased during the recent Update 1.6 live stream. According to miHoYo, "Plants and trees grow densely over Watatsumi Island. Their color is distinct from those in other islands."

Wangsheng Funeral Parlor also leaked the full map of Inazuma, which is now available in the game's beta. The image is the English version of the map with English markers and names. It was earlier claimed that the next "Genshin Impact" live stream showcase would be Friday.

Unfortunately, miHoYo has not yet said anything about the live stream or the release date of the next "Genshin Impact" update. And while these details seem legit, fans should take them with skepticism.
