'Genshin Impact' Venti Banner Characters Revealed; See Release Date

The “Genshin Impact” 1.4 patch is already available for pre-loading, and the entire host of events and new content will be playable starting this Wednesday, featuring Venti and three other four-star characters in the rate-up banner.

The incognito Anemo archon will be accompanied by Sucrose, Razor and Noelle, as made apparent in the game launcher’s new featured banner. The wish banner will work the same as always, but players will have the added benefit of the new game events to earn some extra primogems.

This line-up has been confirmed by a tweet from the official “Genshin Impact” Twitter account.

Venti is a top-tier character for clearing Abyss floors that have plenty of enemy spawns. His elemental burst draws all enemies to the center of the effect for a respectable duration, opening them up to follow-up attacks and other elemental reactions from other party members. This makes him a very good off-field support character who is best used for crowd control and Swirl reactions.

Sucrose fits in the same niche as Venti does; her main strength is crowd control and enemy displacement. She can pull enemies into one spot, making them easy to burst down with strong area-of-effect attacks and prime them for elemental combos.

Meanwhile, Razor is designed to be a primary DPS character. His abilities are designed to improve only his own combat potential without necessarily buffing that of other party members. Razor’s lack of utility is compensated by his immense physical damage scaling that can be made even stronger via the Superconduct reaction with Cryo.

Last on the list is Noelle, who can do just about everything. She can generate shields with Geo reactions and her elemental skill as an on-demand barrier that can also heal everyone in the party.

Her elemental reaction grants her increased range and damage on her basic attacks, making a fully-built Noelle one of the strongest helicopter carries in the game thanks to her spin attack.

That sums up all of the Venti banner characters for “Genshin Impact.” Unfortunately, players will have to wait a few more weeks for Rosaria to show up. Childe’s banner will be coming up next, and fans will hopefully get to pull for both him and the mysterious spearmaiden right after Venti’s banner is over.
