The girlfriend of the University of Oregon tight end Spencer Webb, who was found dead in July after a cliff-diving accident, announced Monday that she is pregnant.

Kelly Kay made the announcement on Instagram with a photo of herself and a sign stating, "Coming Soon Baby Webb."

"We created an angel before heaven gained one. all you ever wanted was to be a father...I know you'll be the best one from up above. Can't believe I have to do it without you but knowing I'll have a piece of you keeps me going. I can't wait to meet the person that's half you, half me. I love you forever, both of you," Kay posted in the caption.

Webb, 22, from Sacramento, California, was a junior entering his fifth season with the Ducks.

Webb fell and hit his head on rock slides about 100 yards down a steep trail near Triangle Lake, which is located outside of the University of Oregon in Eugene, the Lane Country Sherriff's Office announced on July 13 in a statement.

Authorities had declared Webb's death an accident. "There is no evidence of foul play and his death appears to be accidental," police said.

The day after Webb's death, Kay who has 764,000 followers on Instagram, posted: "My best friend my twin flame the love of my life. I've never loved anything as much as i love you. You were my everything, you gave me purpose, you showed me what it's like to be cherished and valued and seen for me. We had so many big plans."
