Rockstar Games has released the official cover art for its open-world crime game "Grand Theft Auto V," coming soon for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Check out the box art below.

The art is impressive, but it's not exactly a departure from any other games in the series since "Grand Theft Auto III." Almost every game since the 2001 bestseller has incorporated panels featuring a seductive woman, threatening men with guns, a motorcycle, a helicopter and a car on the run from the police. Still, if the formula works, why mess with success?

Taken in combination with the recently released screenshots for the game, it looks like "Grand Theft Auto V" is shaping up to be an extremely impressive game. Look for "Grand Theft Auto V" to hit stores for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 17.
