“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 returned to reveal that much has changed overnight. Jo is sticking around, Alex is interim chief, Maggie learned about Teddy’s pregnancy, Teddy left and Meredith realized that she wants a man (or at least sex with a man). That’s not even the half of it. The ABC medical drama will continue some of these storylines in episode 3.

“Meredith works on a patient who happens to specialize in matchmaking,” the episode 3 synopsis teases. In the two-episode premiere, Meredith started treating Cece (Caroline Clay), who is very interested in everyone’s love lives. Not only was she trying to set up Meredith, but she also had a talk with Helm (Jaicy Elliot) about falling for straight women. It sounds like she still has more plans for Meredith, though.

Let’s just hope “Grey’s Anatomy” gives her enough time to see those plans through. Cece was in the hospital because both her kidneys and her heart were failing. She is on two transplant lists, but the odds are stacked against her.

Meanwhile, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) will be treating another difficult patient. “A seemingly drunk patient pushes Richard’s buttons and gives him a medical mystery to solve,” the synopsis reveals. Perhaps his case is what gives episode 3 the title “Gut Feeling.” After all, as a recovering alcoholic himself, Richard knows about drunks.

In the promo video, it’s clear that Richard will have trouble with Alex (Justin Chambers), who is now his boss. Alex kicks Richard out of the OR in the clip.

Of course, it’s never just business at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Maggie (Kelly McCreary) knows Teddy (Kim Raver) is pregnant with Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) baby. She can’t tell anyone because it would be illegal, so it seems she’ll try to get Teddy to reveal her secret. “Maggie tries to reach Teddy after bearing the burden of her secret becomes overwhelming as she struggles with issues in her own personal life,” the logline hints.

What issues does Maggie have in her personal life? After Jackson’s (Jesse Williams) semi-proposal, the two talked and settled on saying their first “I love you.” Shouldn’t her personal life be going great? Fans will have to tune in to find out.

Unlike last time, “Grey’s Anatomy” will only be one-hour long next week. However, fans will still get to see more of their favorite hospital. “Station 19” Season 2 premieres right after, and it will show Pruitt in “grave danger at Grey Sloan” while the other firefighters continue to battle the skyscraper blaze.

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15, episode 3 airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. “Station 19” will follow at 9 p.m. EDT.
