Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together for four years already. The pair continue to flaunt their romance both on-air and on social media. Now, a source close to the couple is claiming that Gwen and Blake might announce their engagement very soon.

“The Voice” contestant Rose Short revealed to Us Weekly that Blake is likely to propose to Gwen in a little while. The aspiring singer shared with the entertainment news publication, during the Season 17 Top 11 Artists live screening earlier this week, why she is convinced that the couple is already planning to tie the knot.

“Let me tell you something: it’s coming. They had a moment,” Rose said of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. “We were backstage getting ready and she was getting her makeup done. He stopped and it was like — so much going on that nobody saw it but me — but he was standing there and he looked at her like he was so proud. So it’s gonna happen,” she went on.

The claims of Rose Short came after Gwen Stefani made it clear that she and Blake Shelton are not engaged yet. The “Hollaback Girl” singer told E! News the ring she wore during the People’s Choice Awards 2019 was not a wedding ring.

"It might be a real ring, a real diamond but it's not a wedding ring. No, no," Gwen explained to entertainment reporter Jason Kennedy exclusively. "It actually doesn't fit over the glove on this hand so I put it on this hand. But good, right?" she added.

Rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s alleged plans to marry have been making rounds online for quite some time already. There were even reports saying that the couple has been trying to conceive a baby. However, all these speculations have been debunked many times over.

Meanwhile, Cheat Sheet revealed that going to the “God Gave Me You” singer’s Oklahoma ranch has become a tradition to the couple every Thanksgiving. “We all fly out to Oklahoma, like 30 of us,” Gwen told Entertainment Tonight. “Blake has this bed and breakfast hotel that we all stay at, and it’s just pretty incredible. We have fun, we all cook together, it’s fun,” she added.
