Last year Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton rang in the new year with fellow “The Voice” coach Pharrell Williams on NBC’s “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.” The two singers weren’t even dating then – so what do their plans for 2016 include?

In a press release from earlier this month, NBC confirmed that Stefani, 46, will be performing from Times Square in New York City on their annual New Year’s Eve countdown special. Fans will be able to hear Stefani belt out her new hit, “Used to Love You.” But what about her beau?

Reports began circulating that Stefani and Shelton, who went public with their relationship in November, would be celebrating together. A source revealed to Us Weekly that Stefani’s ex, Gavin Rossdale, would be taking their three children – Kingston, Zuma and Apollo – on a ski trip. Stefani and Shelton’s plans weren’t revealed, but fans are speculating that the 39-year-old country singer will join Stefani on stage with Carson Daly.

The rumor stems from Shelton’s involvement with another NBC New Year’s Eve event, “A Toast to 2015!” Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb host the special, which starts at 8 p.m. EST and breaks down the biggest events of the year. Shelton will join other celebrities, like Taylor Kinney, Kelly Osbourne, Bethenny Frankel, Eva Longoria and more to “recount the most talked about moments and mishaps that made for an unforgettable year.”

However, unlike NBC’s other special, “New Year’s Eve Game Night With Andy Cohen,” “A Toast to 2015” is not being advertised as a “live” event. That means that Shelton might not necessarily be in New York City with Stefani.

If the two are together to celebrate, fans will likely hear about it. Although they don’t talk openly about their relationship, they do post many photos together on social media. This past weekend the pair visited Glendale, Arizona, to watch the Arizona Cardinals play the Green Bay Packers. They shared their own pictures from the game and retweeted other photos from the sporting event.
