One new Hallmark Channel premiere per weekend is far from enough, which is why fans are getting another one with “Miss Christmas” on Sunday night, to follow up Saturday night’s Countdown to Christmas premiere of “Christmas Festival of Ice.”

Brooke D’Orsay stars as the female lead of “Miss Christmas,” marking her first return to the Hallmark Channel since her 2014 flick “June in January,” opposite Wes Brown. This time, she’ll star alongside Marc Blucas, who was in last year’s Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film “Operation Christmas.”

This new premiere follows D’Orsay as Holly Khun who, known to all of Chicago as “Miss Christmas,” is the Creative Director of the Radcliffe Center, and it’s her job to find the perfect Christmas tree for the plaza.

“But this year the 95-foot spruce she was transporting has been damaged by a crane, rendering it unstable, and now Holly must locate another tree for the lighting ceremony just 10 days away,” the synopsis teases. “Her assistant, Erin Kovacs (Fiona Vroom) and her boss Andrea Zeitz (Chrystal Balint) are wondering how Holly is going to find a good enough tree, let alone get it transported, in time and Holly’s answer is simple: ‘I’m Miss Christmas. This is what I do.’”

As Holly looks for an amazing Christmas tree, and keeps her eyes open for a great man, too, she begins to wonder if she’ll actually be able to come through this time.

“Hoping for a Christmas miracle, she begins combing through hundreds of letters from fans who send photos of trees, hoping theirs will be chosen for the ceremony, and finally one from eight-year-old Joey McNary (Luke Roessler) from Klaus, Wisconsin, makes Holly’s eyes light up,” the synopsis continues. “The boy’s tree is perfect, if only his letter had a return address. Determined to find Joey and his tree, Holly is off to Klaus the next day and, unbeknownst to her, one of the volunteers setting up for the town’s elaborate Christmas festival is handsome Sam McNary (Blucas), Joey’s father.”

Though the two are immediately attracted to one another, they learn that they have very different views on Christmas. She’s all about the love of the holiday, while he’s all about the gifts.

“Luckily, Aimee (Erin Boyes), who runs the bed & breakfast where Holly is staying, is Joey’s aunt. She explains that Joey’s parents are divorced, and he lives with his father, who will never give up the tree,” the synopsis reveals. “Still, Aimee offers to take Holly to the farm to meet her brother, who turns out to be the gorgeous man Holly met earlier in town. Happily their attraction hasn’t waned, but Sam’s holiday spirit is still lacking. He takes Holly to see the tree, which is indeed perfect, and shows his parents’ initials carved into the trunk.”

Will Holly be able to convince the family to let her take the tree? Will Sam discover the real meaning of Christmas? Will Holly and Sam truly find each other along the way?
