Crown Media Family Networks (the parent company of Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Hallmark Drama and Hallmark Movies Now) is currently in the midst of its summer 2019 Television Critics Association (TCA) event in Beverly Hills, California, where a bunch of exciting announcements about current and future Hallmark programs are being made.

With so much happening, all of the stars and executives in attendance have a lot to celebrate, as do all of the Hallmarkies following along at home.

Here’s a breakdown of all the news coming out of Hallmark’s summer TCA 2019 event:

  • Two new movies will be premiering on Hallmark Drama in 2020 — the much-anticipated next “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” movie that POstables everywhere have been waiting for and a sequel to the original “J.L. Family Ranch,” which debuted in 2016 and starred Jon Voight.

  • Hearties will be so happy to hear that “When Calls the Heart” star Erin Krakow is getting her very own Hallmark Movies & Mysteries sleuthing movie — working title “The Royal Mysteries” — set to debut in 2020. According to a press release, “The original story sets thrilling mysteries against the backdrop of a Royal family. As an employee of the Oldavian Embassy, Tanya (Krakow) finds herself caught up in a web of intrigue, deceit and murder. She joins forces with James, the Prince of Oldavia, and together they set out to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of the prominent Oldavian Ambassador.”
  • Krakow’s not the only one getting her own mystery movie. “Chesapeake Shores” star Jesse Metcalfe is also getting his own project, titled “Mysteries of Martha’s Vineyard.”
  • “The Flash” actor John Wesley Shipp teased on Instagram that he’s joining the Hallmark family as a new member of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Ruby Herring Mysteries” cast, which is led by Taylor Cole as the titular character.
  • Hallmark first announced the holiday baking competition series, “Christmas Cookie Countdown,” during their Upfronts event earlier this year, but now the network’s revealed that talent from “When Calls the Heart” will appear on the show, including Jack Wagner, who will host the contest.
  • The network’s daytime show, “Home and Family,” hosted by Cameron Mathison and Debbie Matenopoulos, has been renewed for Season 8.

While processing all of the exciting announcements, Hallmarkies still have two days left of Hallmark Channel’s Christmas in July event to enjoy, as well as the Summer Nights premiere of “Rome in Love” Saturday night and the return of new “Good Witch” episodes Sunday night!
