Robert Cormier, the actor who portrayed Finn Cotter on the family drama series "Heartland," has died at the age of 33.

Cormier died Friday at a hospital in Etobicoke, Ontario, after suffering injuries in a fall, according to the Hollywood Reporter. No other details about his death were available.

Aside from "Heartland," the late actor also appeared in "American Gods," "Ransom" and the Netflix horror anthology series "Slasher." The Toronto-born actor, who was a bartender before joining showbusiness, "had a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more," his obituary read.

"Robert was an athlete, an actor, and a great brother. He impacted many people throughout his life whether it was family, teammates and friends. Rob's memory will live on through his passion for art and film; as well as his three sisters who meant the world to him," it added.

The official Instagram page of "Heartland" paid tribute to the actor Tuesday and said, "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Cormier. He was a beloved member of the Heartland cast the last two seasons. On behalf of the Heartland cast and crew, our thoughts are with him and his family, who have asked for privacy during this difficult time."

"Oh my, I was hoping this was the new love interest they had great chemistry. So sorry for his family!" a user wrote in the comments section, while another said, "He was such a talented man. Gone too soon!"

UPtv, the network that airs "Heartland," wrote, "Robert Cormier, aka Heartland's Finn, was an amazing talent, gone too soon. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Our sincere condolences go out to his friends, family, and co-workers."

TV host and actress Megan Alexander responded to UPtv's post with a crying emoji. One social media user said, "Oh so sad😢 he was so young still."

Cormier's last Instagram post showed him lying next to a pile of "Heartland" scripts. "Gettin at it. #Heartland #finncotter," he captioned the post on Aug. 30

Cormier appeared on "Heartland" Season 15 last year as a new love interest of Amy (played by Amber Mitchell).
