Heather Rae Young is more in love than ever as she celebrates one year of being engaged to her fiancé, Tarek El Moussa.

The "Selling Sunset" star, 33, took to Instagram Sunday to share a heartfelt post for El Moussa, whom she called her "forever person."

"One year ago today I made the best decision of my life by saying yes to spending forever with the most special man," Young wrote alongside three throwback photos from the 39-year-old "Flip or Flop" star's romantic proposal last year.

She continued, "I remember when he proposed… in that moment everything melted away and I was just staring at my forever person, fully in tears thinking how lucky I was that I got to spend the rest of my life with him."

Young went on to list some of the things she loved about her husband-to-be, describing him as a good dad, a loving partner and her best friend.

"Thank you to the man who has put a smile on my face every single day. You have shown me what true love and family are all about. I fall more and more in love with you as I watch how amazing of a dad you are with the babies, how hard you work, and how you put family and your loved ones first in your life," she wrote.

Young continued, "You’re my best friend, my person, and my rock. Happy 1 year of being engaged baby! Cheers to a lifetime of You & Me."

The couple first met on the Fourth of July in 2019 before getting engaged at Catalina Island on this day a year later. They plan to tie the knot sometime this summer.

El Moussa shares daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, 5, with ex-wife and his HGTV co-star Christina Haack. The latter is currently dating realtor Joshua Hall.

Young and El Moussa spent the last week celebrating two years of dating on the island of St. Barts in the Caribbean amid reports of drama on the set of "Flip or Flop."

El Moussa allegedly had a dispute with Haack and lashed out at her earlier this month. However, he reportedly regretted his actions soon after.

"They did get into a disagreement. Tarek lashed out and he's super remorseful," an unnamed source told People. "They're exes who share a history and children and a workplace, but outside of coparenting, they're not friends."

Meanwhile, Haack seemingly proved that she's the boss on the set last week by sharing videos on her Instagram Stories showing how smooth things were going while filming without El Moussa. Several of the crew members told her in the clips, "You're the boss," and she agreed saying, "I'm the boss."
