  • Honey Boo Boo stepped out with her boyfriend Dralin Carswell in Georgia
  • The reality star said she enjoyed the best park dates with her beau
  • The couple smiled for the camera as they stood in front of the lake

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson has seemingly gotten braver with her romantic relationship as she posted some snaps with her boyfriend Dralin Carswell on social media this weekend.

On Saturday, the 16-year-old reality star took to Instagram to upload a couple of snaps showing her and her 20-year-old college student beau enjoying the outdoors near her neighborhood in Georgia.

In the photos, Thompson and Carswell wore matching “Have a Nike Day” shirts in different colors. The pair also sported similar bottoms and white trainers. She carried a pink heart-shaped, crossbody bag.

One of the pictures showed Thompson and her boyfriend walking on a wooden bridge in the middle of the park while holding large white soda cups. In the second photo, the two smiled for the camera while standing in front of the lake.

“Park dates with you are the best,” Mama June’s youngest daughter wrote in the caption. She opted to switch off the comments on the post.

The last time Thompson shared a photo with her boyfriend on her Instagram, she received flak for dating an older guy. The former “Toddlers & Tiaras” star is still in high school, while her boyfriend is already in college. Due to the backlash, Thompson eventually deleted the post.

However, it seems the couple is now ready to make their relationship public. Aside from Thompson’s recent post, Carswell is also set to make his TV debut when “Mama June: Road to Redemption” returns with an all-new season next month.

Earlier this week, the first official trailer for the show was released via Entertainment Tonight. A part of the video showed Thompson and Carswell engaging in some sweet moments, but their interactions get interrupted by Josh Efird, who has become a father figure to the teen.

“The only thing I ask is respect and you treat her really, really good. If you don’t, I’m just gonna break your neck,” the husband of Thompson’s de-facto guardian and older sister, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, told Carswell in the teaser.

“Mama June: Road to Redemption” Season 6 premieres May 13 on We TV.
