To promote his new movie "The Commuter," Liam Neeson, voiced directions on the navigational app Waze. Waze

The Waze navigation app offers more than warnings about objects in the road or speed traps, it also gives users the option to have celebrity voices direct the ins and outs of their drive.

The newest name on the list belongs to none other than actor Liam Neeson. The directions from Neeson are part of a promotional campaign for the new movie “The Commuter”that he stars in. The thriller is expected to be in theaters January 12.

A short teaser video on the Waze Twitter account reveals that Neeson says things like the classic, “You have reached your destination,” but in the theme with the movie, he also says “Be safe my friend,” and “Time is running out.”

The voice became available in the app on Monday and will be available until January 14. It’s really easy to get the voice in the app. First users should update their Waze app so that they know they’re running the latest version of the app and it’s up to date. Then all users have to do is select “Settings” then “Voice Directions” and then “Liam Neeson.” Then Neeson will be the one directing the driver. This is also where users can find other voices to add to their app or change the voice to something else.

Users were already enjoying the newest voice. Some were tweeting about their experience having Neeson direct them.

But others were a little intimidated by the voice.

His voice is only available to Waze users in the United States and for a limited time.
