Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s Oscars performance continues to make buzz online, but there’s someone who actually helped the “A Star Is Born” on-screen couple pull off the live act. And that someone is Jennifer Lopez.

During her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez’s Instagram Live backstage at the 91st Academy Awards, Lopez revealed that she whispered something to Cooper before he and Mother Monster went onstage to sing “Shallow” for the star-studded audience and the many viewers tuning in from around the world, according to Daily Mail.

“He seemed so nervous,” the “Second Act” star said. “I just whispered, ‘The song is beautiful, when they hear the first few notes they’re going to start applauding. So, don’t worry. Just deliver the song.’”

After her revelation, Lopez turned to her partner and told the former professional baseball star how much she enjoyed Cooper and Gaga’s performance. “To have a front row seat to that was so special,” she said.

Bradley and Gaga’s intimate duet has been making headlines for mixed reasons. Many fans of the two are very happy with the performance. But there are people who actually felt uncomfortable watching them considering that Cooper’s baby mama, Irina Shayk, was just a few feet away downstage.

The co-stars’ chemistry appeared to be too real that many big names have also joined in on the speculations that Cooper could be cheating on the Russian model with the “Bad Romance” hitmaker.

When Mel B and Piers Morgan talked about the performance on “Good Morning Britain,” they discussed how the Hollywood actors looked so much in love during their duet. The Spice Girls member even brought up “women’s code” in the conversation.

“It was the look of love, wasn’t it?” Piers asked. Mel B then responded, “It really was and that’s the whole gossip. … But I would like to think it was part of the whole performance, because there’s a women’s code and hopefully that’s not … hopefully it’s only professional.”

Meanwhile, Gaga has also opened up after their emotional number. In an interview with E! News, the singer-actress said that his leading man advised her to just feel “joy” during their duet and that’s what she did. Gaga added that they simply wanted to “spread love” when they performed together.

Cooper and Shayk have been together for almost four years now. They welcomed their daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper on March 21, 2017. On the other hand, Gaga recently called off her engagement to talent manager Christian Carino.
