When Kate Middleton began dating Prince William in the early 2000s, she did not receive a warm welcome from his circle of friends. Kate faced even more of a challenge when she married the Duke of Cambridge and became the newest member of the royal family.

After her wedding, Kate was forced to prove herself to her new in-laws and the world. Luckily, she impressed Queen Elizabeth and won the hearts of royal fans.

Nowadays, the monarch reportedly has “terrific faith” in the Duchess of Cambridge. Royal expert, Ingrid Seward believes Kate won Queen Elizabeth’s admiration by showcasing her hard work ethic.

“The Pakistan Tour is very serious and politically sensitive, and it’s a great honor that she and William have been asked to do it. The Queen has obviously got a terrific faith in their ability to do it brilliantly,” she told Hello magazine.

Seward noted that Kate was able to overcome obstacles during her early days in the royal family by following the rules.

“She was given quite a hard time in the beginning, but she has won people over by working hard to do her duty and never putting a foot wrong,” the commentator explained.

Over the years, Kate has reportedly built up her confidence and appears to have found a balance between her royal duties and her personal life. “She obviously has got her life organized so she can spend as much time as possible with the children and still do all her work.”

When Kate isn’t busy with her royal responsibilities, she enjoys being a hands-on parent to her and Prince William’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
