Prince William and Kate Middleton appear to be in great spirits whenever they make an appearance alongside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. However, it seems the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been intentionally trying to avoid the Sussexes.

Following Meghan’s collaboration with British Vogue, and Prince Harry’s comment about having “two kids, maximum,” Kate and William may be harboring some resentment towards the couple.

Each summer Queen Elizabeth invites members of the royal family to stay at her Scottish estate. However, one royal expert believes William and Kate have been "delaying their Balmoral trip" to avoid seeing Meghan and Prince Harry.

In an article for the Daily Mail, Robert Jobson claimed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to wait for Harry and Meghan to return to their home in Windsor before they visit Balmoral.

“The Duke of Sussex’s latest ‘woke’ outburst, in which he declared that he and Meghan plan to have only two children ‘maximum’ in a bid to save the planet, may well have irked the Cambridges, who already have three,” he said.

Jobson claimed Prince William and Kate, who are parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, may have also been offended by Meghan’s comments to Vogue. The Duchess of Sussex told the publication she chose not to appear on the cover of the September issue because she didn’t want to look “boastful.”

“What will have fuelled [William and Kate’s] disquiet, too, is Meghan’s stint as guest editor on British Vogue’s September issue,” the royal expert explained.

“The Duchess insisted it would have been ‘boastful’ to appear on the cover - but failed to mention that Kate became the fashion bible’s cover star two years previously.”

Although Jobson believes Prince William and Kate are trying to avoid Meghan and Prince Harry, he revealed there is a chance they may run into the couple. Despite the alleged rift between the royals, William, Kate, Meghan, and Harry have shown no signs of tension, and continue to put on a united front.
