Since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in 2018, there have been reports suggesting the Duchess of Sussex was responsible for starting a feud with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Although royal experts believe the couples have experienced a rift in their relationship, one commentator claimed Meghan should have been the bigger person and ended the feud with her in-laws.

During a chat with Fabulous Digital, Phil Dampier called out Meghan for failing to act her age amid her and Harry’s rumored rift with Kate and William. “What’s interesting, that we tend to forget, is Meghan is 38 on August 4,” he said.

“She is the oldest of all of them. Already we think of her as this young newcomer, but she is nearly middle-aged. We tend to forget that she will be 38 so hopefully, she’s mature enough, and the others are mature enough to realize they are all in it together for the long term.”

Dampier went on to claim that Meghan and Prince Harry will eventually be forced to end their rift with Prince William and Kate. The royal commentator noted that once Queen Elizabeth vacates the throne, Prince Charles will ascend and the couples will have to come together.

“They will have to get on, and it’s much better for them to sort out their problems now instead of letting it fester,” he explained.

While Dampier acknowledged the rumors suggesting the four have been at odds, he also noticed a difference in Kate and Meghan’s interaction at Wimbledon, and William and Harry’s demeanor at a sporting event.

“The fact they were seen together at Wimbledon and polo is a good sign. “I don’t think it was a PR stunt, I think they were genuinely going to the events, and William and Harry were both playing the polo,” the royal expert concluded.

Although Dampier believes Meghan should have stepped up in the beginning to end the feud, he suspects the couples’ relationship is in a better place.

“I think they have patched it up and I think they are getting on a lot better than they were a few months ago. I think they’ve both come to their senses,” he told the outlet.

Despite the rumors suggesting a rift, Prince William, Kate, Meghan and Prince Harry have remained supportive of one another and continue to put on a united front.
