'I'm Quitting Heroing' Episode 9 Live Stream: How To Watch Online, Spoilers

Echidna acknowledges Leo Demonhart’s ability and starts expecting more from him in "I'm Quitting Heroing" Episode 9. The next episode is titled "I Want to Quit Heroing."

The official website has unveiled the synopsis, spoiler stills and a promo trailer for Episode 9. Echidna, who doesn’t know that Black Knight Onyx is Leo, is impressed by Leo and wants him to act as a bridge between humans and demons.

Suddenly, the great spirit hole that connects the human world and the demon world starts to close.

In "I'm Quitting Heroing" Episode 9, Echidna is forced to choose between invading the Holy City and retreating to the demon world before the hole closes.

She is confused and at this moment, Leo comes up with a third option.

In the previous episode, Echidna wanted to promote Black Knight Onyx. Meanwhile, Leo wanted to reveal his true identity with Shutina’s help.

Leo was reading a book about Eibrad, a renowned demon also known as the Joiner of Hands. He was surprised because he met Eibrad back in Tokyo.

"After saving humanity from the despicable Demon King, Leo Demonhart does not earn a hero's standing. Instead, he is regarded with suspicion and hostility by those he fought to protect," read the official series summary, according to Sentai.

"Treated as a pariah with nowhere else to turn, exiled Leo seeks a position in the army of his former nemesis! But the army is not what it once was before its defeat at Leo's hands, so to maintain his new position, Leo must whip the forces back into fighting shape," the summary continued.

The anime is based on the original story by Quantum. The opening theme song of the anime, titled "Broken Identity," is performed by Minori Suzuki. The closing theme song, "Growing," is by Nao Toyama.

The cast of the anime includes Kensho Ono as Leo Demonheart, Yumi Uchiyama as Mernes, Tetsu Inada as Edvard, Misato Matsuoka as Jerietta, Minori Suzuki as Dianette, Kaede Hondo as Echidna and Hitomi Ohwada as Lily.

"I'm Quitting Heroing" Episode 9 is scheduled to release Tuesday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Hidive. The episode will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
