Sam Gilroy and Anne-Marie Johnson have joined the cast of “Imposters.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gilroy and Johnson were cast in recurring roles in Season 2 of the Bravo con-artist drama.

Johnson will portray the character of Gail, a psychologist/therapist working at a luxury wellness retreat, while Gilroy will play Michael, Gail’s co-worker described as a sweet, well-intentioned man.

Johnson and Gilroy join previously announced Season 2 newcomers “Reign” alum Rachel Skarsten and “Imposters” co-creator Paul Adelstein. As revealed by Deadline last month, Skarsten will play the recurring role of Poppy Langmore, a private school educated elitist and sister to Jules (Marianne Rendón). Adelstein, meanwhile, will appear in multiple episodes as Shelly Cohen, a mysterious fixer who happens to be the former husband of Lenny Cohen (Uma Thurman).

Gilroy is best known for his role as Wall Street Journal reporter Michael Dimonda on Showtime’s “Billions,” while Johnson rose to prominence for her roles as Nadine Hudson Thomas on the syndicated series “What's Happening Now!!,” Althea Tibbs on the NBC-turned-CBS drama “In the Heat of the Night” and Alycia Barnett on Fox’s “Melrose Place.”

Plot details about “Imposters” Season 2 have been scarce, but Adelstein’s co-creator Adams Brooks previously said that fans can expect some self-reinvention for every returning character in the new season.

“What’s really interesting to us is that all our major characters no longer can be defined by what defined them at the beginning of Season 1,” Brooks told TVLine when asked what’s in store for the characters in Season 2. “Ezra (Rob Heaps), Jules and Richard (Parker Young) were defined, first of all, by finding the love of their lives, losing that person and then realizing that they could go and try to find her. That quest is now done. Who are they now?”

“Max (Brian Benben) has been defined by devotion and working for the Doctor (Ray Proscia). Now he’s unmoored from that. He tried to pull of this tricky thing, [and] he failed. Does he go to the Doctor?” Brooks continued. “Patrick (Stephen Bishop) totally messed up. What’s going to happen to him when he’s no longer the hotshot FBI agent? Is Maddie (Inbar Lavi) under his skin? Does he hate-love her? And Maddie keeps saying she wants some kind of normalcy. What’s she going to do now? How does she define herself away from the whole thing? … Our story is about identity — how do you reinvent yourself? Who are you? — and peril. Those are the elements that will lead us into Season 2 now.”

“Imposters” Season 2 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime next year.
