Jennifer Aniston, 50, and Justin Theroux, 48, announced their split, in Feb. 2018, after two and a half years of marriage. The two released a joint statement, saying that they chose to remain best of friends despite their decision to break up. The former lovebirds also look forward to continuing their friendship until the end of time.

True enough, it seems like Jennifer and Justin are in constant communication after the actor revealed to Entertainment Tonight that his ex-ladylove told him to follow her on Instagram. "She actually texted me. She said, 'You haven't followed me,' and I said, 'Of course I followed you!' and she's like, 'No you haven't!'" Justin divulged to reporter Rachel Smith at the New York City press day for “Lady and the Tramp” on Wednesday. "I realized I was one of the people caught in the glitch. So, I had followed, commented..." the “American Psycho” actor went on.

To recall, Jennifer Aniston broke the internet when she, finally, launched her personal Instagram account on Oct. 15. Her first snap, which featured her former “Friends” castmates David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, caused a stir and left fans in a frenzy. “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM,” Justin Theroux’s ex-partner wrote in the caption.

The picture got more than 2 million likes in just three hours since it was posted. Jennifer made her Instagram debut just weeks after she and her "Friends" co-stars celebrated 25 years since the popular American television sitcom premiered. Justin was, also, among the first people who commented on the “Murder Mystery” star’s first post.

In another interview with Access Hollywood, Justin Theroux admitted he felt the need to make a remark on Jennifer Aniston’s initial post since he “was like the 40 trillionth billionth person to comment.” He also denied the allegation he already knew that the “We’re the Millers” actress is joining Instagram. Justin expressed excitement towards Jennifer’s new journey on the social media world, saying that the public is about to see how “hilarious” Brad Pitt’s ex-wifey can be.

Jennifer, in a previous interview with Elle, revealed that she still considers her relationships with Justin and Brad “successful” because their decisions were made to make themselves happy. Though the actress admitted there were a lot of challenges in her two previous romances, Jennifer Aniston revealed she does not want to stay in a marriage based on fear – the fear of being alone and the fear of not being able to survive.
