Jennifer Aniston’s “Friends” co-stars Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox were allegedly, flirting causing the latter’s boyfriend to move out from their shared home.

The “Friends” reunion has been confirmed already, so Aniston, Cox and the rest of the gang will be appearing for an unscripted special. However, according to New Idea, Perry and Cox appeared closer than ever and it made her boyfriend so jealous that the latter decided to leave Cox.

Cox and Perry have been hinting about their intimacy on social media. In one of Cox’s posts on Instagram, Perry commented and called her “honey.”

“Hi honey, what the hell just happened?” he wrote.

Cox’s partner Johnny McDaid was reportedly not pleased with her public flirtation with Perry. McDaid was jealous that he left her in their shared home in Malibu.

“There was a jealous row after their date night at Giorgio Baldi restaurant after Johnny found a string of what he described as ‘inappropriate’ messages between the co-stars,” a source said.

This isn’t the first time Perry and Cox were romantically linked. In 2015, Cox and McDaid broke up and an insider told Perez Hilton that Perry was one of the first people she called. They reportedly leaned on each other, Closer reported.

An insider also told Us Weekly that Perry has always been in love with his on-screen partner. He reportedly didn’t get over her even when she started dating McDaid.

“Matthew’s always been in love with her,” the source said. “Matthew has never fully been able to get over her.”

In 2016, Cox opened up about his split from McDaid, she confessed it was brutal unlike her divorce from David Arquette. She admitted that they had different views on love because McDaid is from Ireland. They rekindled their romance in the same year, with Cox saying she was a better version of herself.

“I definitely have learned a lot, and no matter what, I will be a better person from that breakup, even though it was so brutal,” Cox said. “Everything's new. And we have both really worked on ourselves on the parts that needed the most attention. And it feels really different.”
