Jennifer Garner, Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo are doing their part to support the people of Ukraine amid Russia's invasion of the eastern European country.

On Monday, the stars hit the red carpet at New York's Lincoln Center for the premiere of their new Netflix film, "The Adam Project." During the event, they spoke about the charitable efforts they have made as hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees fled to neighboring countries to escape the war.

Reynolds opened up about his pledge with wife Blake Lively to match $1 million in donations to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to help refugees in the wake of the conflict.

"We just felt that we were incredibly fortunate to be able to do something like that, and it’s hard not to elicit enormous empathy to the idea that families big and small are being told they have to flee their homes they’ve had their whole lives in a matter of minutes. I just can’t imagine how that would feel for a parent, let alone anybody,” Reynolds told Variety.

Garner, meanwhile, sent supplies such as diapers, children’s clothing, shoes, socks, infant formula, baby food, toys, books, teddy bears and blankets to Ukrainian families through the charity Save the Children.

"My heart goes out to the people in Ukraine. I'm thinking especially of the women and children," the actress told the outlet.

According to the "Yes Day" star, she and the charity are working hand-in-hand with the UNHCR and the Red Cross, which are building shelters and refugee camps, to make sure that "children, babies and mothers are specifically cared for."

In addition to sending supplies, Garner said they are "trying to get education up and running for them while they figure out where they're going to be next."

"I'm proud of that work and am happy to be supporting it," she continued.

Meanwhile, Ruffalo praised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the people of Ukraine during Monday's premiere, calling them "heroes."

"What we're seeing is this incredible outpouring of goodwill toward Ukrainian people and democracy at a time when democracy has been under attack throughout the world," the "Avengers" star told Variety.

He continued, "It's a beautiful representation of who we are as human beings and how we’ve come together, and the Ukrainian people are incredible. They're heroes. Zelenskyy is a hero. That's what it looks like when people come together to fight for something that’s right. I'm praying they succeed in what they're trying to do."

"The Adam Project," which also stars Zoe Saldana, Walker Scobell and Catherine Keener, follows the story of a pilot who travels through time to work with his younger self and late father in an effort to save the future.

The film reunites not only "13 Going on 30" co-stars Ruffalo and Garner but also Reynolds and director Shawn Levy, who helmed the "Deadpool" star's hit movie "Free Guy."

Levy said he hopes "The Adam Project" can serve as escapist art for viewers amid this turbulent time.

"It is a crazy time and it always feels weird to be celebrating something when there is such strife and hardship going on elsewhere," Levy told Variety. "Certainly what I hold onto is the whole point of this movie was to make a human and emotional connective experience. That baseline humanity that movies and storytelling can reconnect us to has value."

"The Adam Project" premieres on Netflix on March 11.
