Jennifer Garner did not attend this month’s Independence Day parade with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and their two children, Seraphina and Samuel.

Photos of the “Batman v Superman” actor with his two kids surfaced on July 4. Fans were surprised to not see Garner and her daughter Violet in the snaps. It has been very common for Garner and Affleck to hang out with all three of their children together.

In fact, even though Garner and Affleck have already been separated for four years and divorced for a year, they still attend church service every Sunday as a family.

Days after the 4th of July celebrations, a photo of the “Alias” star walking on the streets of London with her teen daughter was released. Garner and Violet traveled to the United Kingdom to watch the sold-out play “Present Laughter,” which stars Andrew Scott.

“Jennifer was all smiles and having the best time with her daughter. No one noticed her at all… She was completely under the radar but still looked gorgeous,” an onlooker told Page Six.

As of late, it is still unclear why Garner only traveled to London with Violet. But it is possible that the actress wants to spend one-on-one time with her children. During a previous appearance on David Tennant’s podcast, Garner shared how her kids, particularly Violet, was negatively impacted by her fame.

When Violet was just 6 years old, she experienced was it was like to be hounded by the paparazzi. Garner also teamed up with Halle Berry to help improve the laws surrounding photographers. A law was created so that the paparazzi would now have to wait in line if they want to take photos of actors.

“We had all lawmakers and police officers and people who help us enforce the law come over to our house. And then my daughter got up and made a speech – which nobody has ever seen – but about the experience, I think she was about 6, and the experience of being a little girl and what it’s like from a kid’s perspective,” she said.
