Multiple sources are confirming that Jennifer Lopez is leaving American Idol.

E! News is reporting that Lopez is just too busy for the show, citing a close source to the Idol judge.

Jenny From The Block is leaving American Idol after serving as a judge on the reality competition since 2010.

There is just too much going on for her right now, explains the source, who is also cited by Us Weekly.

Lopez joined the Idol panel in 2010 following the departure of Ellen DeGeneres, in an effort revive her career, CNN reported.

At 42-years-old, Lopez was contracted to receive $20 Million for her role on American Idol, while the show provided a platform for her to land lucrative endorsements with L'Oreal and Gillette, as well as launch a clothing line and popular fragrance

Lopez, who just landed the top spot on Forbes' 2012 list of most powerful celebrities, has signed on for a 20-city tour of the U.S. and Latin America with Enrique Iglesias, the dates of which conflict with Idol's pre-taping schedule.

She regrets she can't stay on the show, the source adds. It's been an incredible experience and she is forever grateful that she did it, the source told Us Weekly.

In early May, the the mother of two, who is currently starring in the movie What to Expect While You're Expecting, opened up to Us Weekly during a press conference for the film about her jam-packed schedule.

I'm a little tired right now, I'm not going to lie, Lopez told Us I've been rehearsing, doing Idol, promoting this movie... the kids, it's a lot of stuff! she added

Despite all of the hard work, Lopez goes on to express how focused she feels at the moment.

I feel really in the zone, she shared. I feel really good about everything, I feel like everything's going so well. I feel blessed, I do.

Only three contestants remain, as Idol gears up for their long awaited season 11 finale.
