Singer Jennifer Lopez revealed that the first clash between the three judges on the reality show American Idol occurred during a recent audition.

Lopez said that she got into a disagreement with fellow judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson over a contestant, who Lopez thought was amazing but Tyler and Jackson didn't deem good enough.

I think me, Randy and Steven got into our first fight, Lopez told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM Radio show. I got really, really upset. There was this girl that came in and sang and she was amazing, amazing. And Steven, as he will do when we're doing our auditions, he'll ask her for another song. I was like, I was surprised because I was ready to vote. I was like, 'This girl is amazing'.

Even after performing a second song Tyler and Jackson were not convinced and eliminated the girl from going further in the competition.

Lopez was quite shocked and thought she was being Punk'd.

I was upset. When I believe in something ... I knew this girl deserves the chance, said the 42-year-old singer.

Seacrest added that the scene made him feel like Lopez's blood was boiling due to the conflicting opinions.

The thing I recognized from that scene, said Seacrest, was there was blood boiling for one of the first times. I really felt like your blood was boiling.
