The Atlanta Hawks are not really soaring right now and speculated moves are in the offing. Toting a 14-30 record over at the Eastern Conference, the team has reportedly made available three players for trade – Jeremy Lin, Kent Bazemore and Dewayne Dedmon.

Among the players the Atlanta Hawks are dangling before the February NBA trade deadline, the names of Lin and Bazemore may sound familiar. Lin has rediscovered his form, a reason why he has been linked to several teams.

In a previous post, the Detroit Pistons were mentioned as a potential stop for the 30-year-old guard mostly because of his offensive prowess. Other than the Pistons, the Utah Jazz was also seen as another logical stop for the American-Asian, but a recent report has now suggested that he could be headed to the Sacramento Kings.

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Lin is already drawing attention. The Kings have reportedly expressed interest in Linsanity in an effort to help them in their push for a playoff spot.

Sacramento currently sits at 9th position in the Western Conference with a 23-21 win-loss card and could get a lift with the offensive and scrappy play of Lin. The same, however, cannot be said for Bazemore and Dedmon.

In another previous post, it was suggested the Lin and Bazemore could be of use to teams in need of offense. The Utah Jazz was singled out as one potential stop, although nothing has materialized to date. Bazemore has also been linked to the New Orleans Pelicans, a team in dire need of offensive players to back up big man Anthony Davis.

Lin has been doing well off the bench, averaging 10.8 points in 19.5 minutes of action. Bazemore, on the other hand, has been producing 14.0 points per game and owns a 44.1-percent shooting clip from the field.

Dedmon has yet to be linked to any team, but playing the center position could attract interest from several teams. The Golden State Warriors are one as they are a team hoping to plug their big hole in the middle. Robin Lopez was an option, although his ties with the Chicago Bulls are complicated since the ballclub does not plan to buy him out.

Dedmon is averaging 9.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game and has started for the Hawks in 23 of 34 appearances. If there is a team that bites, he will likely come off the bench unless he shows he deserves a starting role.
