Jeremy Renner was injured in a weather-related accident and hospitalized Sunday.

The Marvel star was airlifted and taken to the hospital after he suffered injuries while plowing snow.

"We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today," a representative of the 51-year-old actor told The Hollywood Reporter.

A spokesperson told Deadline that the "Hawkeye" star is accompanied by his family and "receiving excellent care." The actor has a house located near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, which is 25 miles away from Reno. The area, as per multiple reports, witnessed a winter storm on New Year's Eve, causing a loss of power supply in almost 35,000 houses.

Renner's hospitalization took place ahead of the release of season 2 of his thriller series, "Mayor of Kingstown," on Jan. 15. The series is slated to stream on Paramount+. Hugh Dillon and Taylor Sheridan created the series. The first season of the thriller series dropped in 2021.

Renner is popularly known for playing Clint Barton's character in Marvel movies and series. The actor was last seen "Hawkeye" as Clint Barton. The action fiction series also featured Hailee Steinfeld, Florence Pugh, Tony Dalton and Alaqua Cox.

Aside from "Mayor of Kingstown," the actor will feature in an untitled project based on the makers of OxyContin. The project is helmed by director duo Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly.

Considering his upcoming Marvel project, Renner is rumored to appear in the highly anticipated movie, "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty," which is slated to release in 2025. While the plot has been kept under wraps, it is helmed by director Destin Daniel Cretton. The flick will feature Anthony Mackie as Captain America and Jonathan Majors as Kang.

On the personal front, Renner got married to actress Sonni Pacheco in January 2014 and divorced in 2015. The former couple shares a 9-year-old daughter named Ava Berlin Renner.

Before Pacheco, the actor briefly actress Janet Montgomery in 2011. He also dated actress Jes Macallan from 2005 to 2009. He was also linked with actress Rashida Jones in 1995.
