Jerry Seinfeld has continued to entertain fans over the years since his NBC sitcom "Seinfeld" aired its series finale on May 14, 1998. Since then, the comedian has gone on to work on a range of other projects, including "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and his new Netflix stand-up special, "23 Hours To Kill." How much is Seinfeld reportedly worth as a result?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the actor is said to be worth $950M. After teaming up with Larry David in 1989, the two went on to create and write the pilot for NBC, which they originally called "The Seinfeld Chronicles." This eventually led the star to reportedly earning just under $60 million for his work on the TV show "Seinfeld."

As for how that total can be broken down, the outlet states that Seinfeld earned $20,000 per episode for Season 1. In Seasons 2 and 3, the amount was doubled to $40,000. In Seasons 4, 5, and 6, he then earned $100,000 per episode. Seasons 7 and 8 netted the comedian $500,000 per episode. Eventually, for Season 9, he earned $1M per show, which made him the first television actor to make that much per episode. However, that record was broken the following year when Tim Allen earned $1.25 million for his work on "Home Improvement."

It was then revealed that NBC had offered Seinfeld $5 million an episode for a tenth season of the long-running sitcom, but an agreement was never reached.

Not only does syndication continue to generate income for the TV personality, but in 2019, the rights to "Seinfeld" were sold to Netflix for $500M as well. In turn, the co-creator is said to have taken home $75M for his share. The so-called "show about nothing" will be moving from Hulu to Netflix in 2021.
