Singer Jimmy Buffett has been released from a Sydney hospital on Wednesday after suffering a head injury the previous day, according to a statement from his official website.

Ahead of his release, doctors said he was doing well, his site reported.

The incident occurred at the end of one of his songs. In videos of the incident posted to YouTube by fans, Buffett, 64, is seen walking toward the stage and suddenly falling.

People in attendance were asked to leave the venue after a declaration that the show was over.
