  • John Legend’s “All Of Me” has topped the list of top ten love songs on Spotify
  • The song has been added to more than 29 million playlists
  • Ed Sheeran has two songs on the list, "Thinking Out Loud" and "Perfect"

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and people have already started to do their best to make their closed ones realize how much they love them. To set the mood right, Spotify has curated a list of top ten love songs on their streaming service and it is John Legend’s “All Of Me” that topped the list with more than 1 billion streams.

According to a report, the love ballad made by the 41-year-old musician has claimed the numero uno position on the list of most loved love songs ahead of Valentine’s Day with 1.1 billion streams. Additionally, the song has been added to more than 29 million playlists created by the users to celebrate the day of love.

The track was followed by Ed Sheeran’s gigantic hit “Thinking Out Loud,” “Just The Way You Are” by Bruno Mars, “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston, and Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”

The “Castle On The Hill” singer is the only artist to have two songs on the list. Sheeran’s “Perfect” claimed the eighth spot on the coveted list.

Released in 2013, “All Of Me” was met with positive reviews from the critics as well as the listeners. But the song failed to garner huge success at first. The song started to pick up momentum in the coming months and finally got to the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100. The soulful track became Legend’s first number-one single in the U.S.

The song was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Pop Solo Performance but lost out to Pharrell William’s blockbuster song “Happy.”

On the other hand, this is the second time Sheeran has made an appearance in a list curated by the streaming-giant. Last year, the “Galway Girl” hitmaker was named the second most-streamed artist of the decade by music streaming service.

Sheeran’s hit song “Shape Of You” claimed the numero uno position in the list of most streamed tracks of the decade. The song, alone, notched up 2.3 billion streams on Spotify, making it one of the biggest songs of all time.

Here are the top 10 songs that appear the most on Valentine’s Day playlists globally, according to Spotify:
