Johnny Depp once made a heartbreaking confession about his real feelings for his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

During his interview with GQ two years after her divorce from the “Aquaman” star, Depp admitted to feeling worried not only for himself and the people he loves but also for his ex-wife.

But despite the actor’s worries, he said that he will never stop fighting no matter what happens.

“An episode like this takes time to get over. It’s mourning for someone you thought was…” Depp said.

The interviewer attempted to complete Depp’s sentence for him and said, “The love of his life?” and the actor said, “Well, something. I did marry her somehow.”

During the same interview, Depp talked about the allegations that were thrown at him by Heard, and he vehemently denied them. Depp admitted though to threatening the paparazzi when they tried to take photos of his ex-wife, Vanessa Paradis, and their children. However, the actor said that he’s not one to hurt someone that he loves.

The “Edward Scissorhands” star then talked about Heard’s domestic abuse complaints in 2016. At that time, police officers dropped by the couple’s home to check what was going on. Two years later, Depp still couldn’t believe that Heard refused to talk to the police, and she also refused their emergency services.

But days later, Heard submitted a photo of herself with a huge bruise on her face.

“I mean, they spoke to the police, but the police saw nothing and they offered her an emergency medical technician. She said no. Police see nothing on her. Police see nothing broken in the place, no marks, and then they offer her an EMT to have a look at her and she says no and I don’t know if it was the next day or a couple of days later, but then there was a bruise. There was a red mark and then there was a brown bruise,” Depp said.

Heard and Depp’s divorce and the subsequent lawsuit is making headlines today because of the recently leaked audiotapes where the former could be heard taunting the latter.
