Actor Jonah Hill was almost unrecognizable when he was spotted in Los Angeles Saturday sporting a more slender and toned figure. While he generally appeared bigger in a handful of his previous films, the "War Dogs" star has also been known for his weight fluctuation over the course of his career.

During a 2016 appearance on "The Tonight Show," Hill revealed what led him to get into better shape.

"I gained weight for this movie 'War Dogs' and then I wanted to get in better shape. I called Channing Tatum," he told show host Jimmy Fallon. "I was like, 'Hey if I eat less and go to a trainer will I get in good shape?' And he's like, 'Yea, you dumb mother f——r. Of course, you will.'"

In honor of the "Superbad" star's new fit figure, International Business Times created a list of five other star's who have also decided to get in shape for health purposes.

ZACK GALIFIANAKIS

When the "Hangover" star revealed his dramatic weight loss back in 2014 at the premiere for "Birdman," he proved to be unrecognizable.

During a 2013 appearance on "Conan," Galifianakis shared with the comedian what ultimately led to the early beginnings of his new figure. Surprisingly, he revealed that he found himself in "trouble" with his drinking habits.

"I stopped drinking and I just kind of put the weight off," he told show host Conan O'Brien. "I was having a lot of vodka with sausage. Delicious but bad for you."

KHLOÉ KARDASHIAN

While the reality television starlet was often rebuked as the "chubby" sister, haters can say that no longer.

After her separation from NBA player Lamar Odom, she got her revenge body by dropping an astounding 40 pounds. To celebrate her dramatic new figure, Kardashian took to Instagram to open up to fans about her decision to transform her figure.

"My fitness journey will be a lifelong journey. Fitness is not about being better than someone else… It's about being better than you used to be," Kardashian wrote in 2015. "I'm not where I want to be and who knows if I ever will be. But I am healthier than ever and due to my consistent workouts, I am slowly seeing results."

DREW CAREY

"The Price Is Right" host knew it was time to shed his fuller figure when it became problematic for his health. Since he had managed to acquire Type-2 diabetes, the comedic actor decided to get in shape. He eventually lost 80 pounds.

During a 2011 appearance on "The Talk," Carey revealed that he ate "absolutely no carbs" when beginning his weight loss transformation. He then went onto to share how he feels about his healthier lifestyle.

"I feel great," he told the show's hosts. "I feel like I've got my life back."

JENNIFER HUDSON

The former "American Idol" contestant was known for her fuller figure. However, she realized that she needed to make a change in her life.

During a 2011 appearance on CNN, Hudson explained that her son was the inspiration behind her decision to lose weight.

"I wanted to set an example for my son, to be honest, that was a huge part of it," Hudson said. "After being pregnant...I wanted my body back."

Since then, she has gone on to be a vocal spokesperson for Weight Watchers' diet program.

JOHN GOODMAN

Over the years, Goodman has had an issue with maintaining a healthy weight. However, he recently realized that he needed to improve upon this.

During a 2016 appearance on ABC News' "Popcorn with Peter Travers," the "10 Cloverfield Lane" actor revealed what led him to shed a great deal of weight.

"I just stopped eating all the time. I'd have a handful of food and it'd go to my mouth," Goodman shared with Travers. "I was eating alcoholically."
