"Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 2 is loaded with interesting characters, plot twists and various arcs that will most likely break the internet if not drive fans crazy, especially those who have not yet read the manga.

While the second season of the dark fantasy, supernatural manga series created by Gege Akutami has already been confirmed, the release date has not been revealed as of this writing. If "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 2 will follow the manga, it will most likely cover the longest, most brutal and lethal arc titled Shibuya Incident.

The arc features a lot of twists and turns, as well as interesting world-building. Also, the arc introduces characters intended to shake up the lives of the series' main characters. Aside from the "Shibuya District" arc, the second season will most likely cover the "Goju's Flashback" Arc.

In this part, fans will get to know more about Goju Satoryu and how he earned the moniker The Strongest. Other interesting characters like Tengen-Sama are also featured in this arc, including details like who the barrier maker really is.

Goju's fans will surely be thrilled with "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 2 since during the "Goju's Past" arc, they will see the strongest shaman perfect his insanely overpowered techniques, thanks to Toji, Megumi Fushiguro's father. Aside from his calm nature and good looks, he is the only character in the series to ever comes close to killing Goju.

This arc will also reveal the reason why Goju's friend Suguru Geto switches sides. As the voice of reason to the scary power of Goju, Suguru Geto's downfall is not only heartbreaking but also disappointing.

The "Pre-Shibuya Incident" arc might also be featured in "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 2. It is an interesting appetizer to the twists in the plot and the bloodbath in the action that will be highlighted in the "Shibuya Incident" arc.

One of the exciting revelations in this particular arc is about Mechamaru and the human behind the mechanical cursed corpse. Eventually, fans will find out that Kokichi Muta, the human behind Mechamaru, is a mole.

Finally, the "Shibuya Incident" arc will mostly cover the biggest part of the second season. With MAPPA doing the animation for the manga's TV anime adaptation, fans will definitely enjoy the second season of "Jujutsu Kaisen."

Yōichi Mushiaki, president of MBS Television channel in Japan, said in a press conference in January that fans should wait until the team is ready to speak about the anime's second season.

"At this time I'd like you all to wait for us to state a concrete plan," the executive said, Anime News Network reported. "However, I think we can provide a development that will meet expectations."

A "Jujutsu Kaisen" event is scheduled for Feb. 12 at 1.45 a.m. ET and according to the team, it will feature a "super significant announcement," which many fans believe is related to the anime's second season.
